Print off the Monster Mapped word for the 'What's Under the Hat' clip.
Ask children to find those Monster Sounds on their Monster Mat, and ideally play them in the Monster Spelling Piano app or Phonemies screen of MyWordz in the right order.
Show the MySpeekie tech on the whiteboard if you have the web version (MyWordz.tech) to play 'What's Under the Hat' words. This is to play the 'voice' part ie speech sounds, blended into the word. Dont worry about the letters. We are showing children that when the sounds are put together in the right order, the word will be voiced.
